Amenities: Unfortunately the advertised pool amenity was not available when I got there, it was under construction and that was apart of why I chose this hotel. That is my only complaint really.

Bourbon Orleans Hotel
Excellent location in French Quarter. Has its own bar with jazz in evenings. Pool looked lovely although we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Helpful valet attendants who offered many suggestions.

Crowne Plaza New Orleans French Qtr - Astor by IHG
If you want to be in the middle of the action and you don’t mind stains on the carpet, torn drapes, and damaged walls, I guess you could do worse. The sad thing is, it has great potential.
