The room is small like alot of comments good one person. Microwave is old school. Tv old, kettle leaking. Where motel funny place in town. Owner overly friendly. Biggest problem he take copy id eg drive license and now what doing with that private information.

The Unit we had was compact but equipped with all our needs, was neat, clean and a very comfortable bed. We could not use the TV because the instructions required us to "cast to the TV from another device" and this was something we had never done before and had no time to fiddle about with that. We should be able to just use the handpiece in the usual way to find the channel we wanted to watch.

Great location, literally across the road from the architectural marvel, the Govett Brewster gallery and just a few minutes walk to the waterfront, the Len Lye Wind Wand and the Puke Ariki Museum. Lots of restaurants and cafes just a short stroll away. The studio units are quite small and have minimal kitchen facilities if that matters (it didn’t to me), but they have all the essentials. Bella Vista motels are consistently very good, mid-range motels and the location of this one makes it quite remarkable.

Lovely stay

Room was small but very clean and that's what we liked. Host was nice. Close to the restaurants and the Coastal Walkway. Only downside - no locks in the bathroom and no place to hang clothes. Highly recommended. Will stay again if in New Plymouth.
