"I think this hotel was "average"...a 3.5. I graded it a little lower because the room had a bit of a sweaty clothes smell and the bathroom countertop was tiny. We opened the window for a bit (the temp was in the mid 60s outside) &, after, ran the AC. However, when we returned from dinner, the slight smell was still there. The breakfast was good & included scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits, gravy, bread, bagels, waffles, cereal, yogurt, juice, muffins & fruit. The desk staff was kind & helpful. We had dinner at El Bandido, after a recommendation from the desk agent. The food was good & the prices were very reasonable. The location of this hotel was in close proximity to some of the hiking & sightseeing we were doing."

"A/c and heater unit didnt work 1st night, easy access to food establishments, as a former resident in the town, there's nothing g to do. 2nd night I rebooked a room there and had to look a a extended stay hotel so oh welll"

"First time at a Microtel. Room was smaller then I expected. It had everything we needed. My wife packs large so a larger room is important for us. "

"We arrived at 4pm and they gave away our room to someone else in error because they didn't bother to check the name. So we had to settle for a smaller room that was not as clean as expected for a newer hotel. Very disappointed. The best part of tge stay was their pancake machine ar breakfast. Even though I travel through the area often, I won't be going back. Definitely not up to Hilton hotel group standards."

"It looks like a new or newly renovated property. The rooms are big and clean. It was our first trip to West Virginia and we loved it. We were a bit nervous as a Black family because we didn't think West Virginia had any Black people, but the people were extremely nice lol."
