for one its right next to a shelter and then on a block that doesnt look safe at all then the have nerve to have a kitchenette that wasnt clean limited towels and one staff memebrr that does everything in the hotel so its hard to get some assistance i waited hrs for someone to gix ny tv and it never happened and on top of that i was over charged on a holiday for 247 that hotel need to be in better conditions and with better staff
Very cold , the bed had no springs. It was a horrible experience. I was offered another room that was a icebox, & i was told to just tough it out at 3am , until the heat kicked in.
The hotel was creepy. The neighborhood was dangerous. The window blinds were in disrepair. The people coming into the hotel looked sketchy. If you value your life don’t stay at the Kings Hotel Inc in Brooklyn, NY aka the Bates Motel (from Psycho).
It was worse than I expected the only
Thing decent about this place was the front desk guy he was very nice. The room was so small. The bathroom door could barely close. The sink in the “kitchen” didn’t work. It was damp and smelled old. I wouldn’t go back even if it was the last option I had.

Our room was a little tight but was good enough for a place to sleep and shower for our weekend in NY. I didnt like that the price i paid was for a double bed that "sleeps 2" and they charge for the second person; not what im used to when renting a hotel room. The area was a little sketchy for the price also. Extra limited parking so we parked on the street. The shower head was loose and tub was creeky when you stand in it. The door to our room was not secure without slamming it. For a last minute booking, it was good enough. We were just glad we found a room under $200 especially in the city, to be able to sleep and shower.

You Can Do Better
Poor neighborhood. Tub would not drain. Stove but no phone? Inflated Marathon prices.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They moved my room 3x because they could not get a key to work. They were not able to provide me with a key to my room for my 2 day stay!! Yes, that is correct NO KEY PROVIDED. There was no phone in the room and service on my cell was poor, so I had to physically go to the front desk 4x to keep requesting a KEY. I never received one. There was no manager to speak to. My TV didn't work and parking, which I confirmed prior to checking in, was unavailable. When I requested my monies back, both the hotel and hotels.com refused. What a disappointment. I have been a loyal customer for 6 years. I won't use hotels.com ever again. DO NOT BOOK HERE
This hotel does not have good cleanliness, the room was not in good condition and the sheets were not removed. They just fixed the bedding. I never come back to this hotel again.
Initially booked a Jr room but upon arrival had to upgrade due to it being way too small. The upgraded room was a little bigger but still had no closet and was not completely clean, sheets had stains, small food scraps on the floor, stains on bathtub floor. Was not worth the price and would not rebook. The staff was very friendly however but building needs an upgrade and proper cleaning.
Horrible customer service, made me wait for an hour to give a room which i don't get because i reserved one ahead of time. The man who was in reception, he was rude. Room was cleaned but didt have any hair drier, no outlets, no good lighting, horrible. Bad neighborhood and dangerous. I didnt like it. I wasn't comfortable staying in this hotel.
It has nice decorations and it's near the airport. It's a little expensive but still cheaper than most hotels in the area

The room was somewhat clean in this run-down Hotel. The person that was supposed to stay with me would not even stay on the property because it was after dark and the neighborhood was so sketchy. Next door is the Brooklyn Men's Shelter so people are constantly hanging around outside at all hours.
