"The Palm was such a lovely place to start our vacation! The location is great and the staff were kind and helpful. The room itself was spacious with plenty of character. We wish we could have stayed for longer. The only drawback is parking as it is a very busy road."

"Room was in dire need of refurbishment. Everything was in a pretty bad state. The room was big and the beds were comfortable, but carpeting was gross and bathroom was awkward and very old and cracked. Also needed more sockets to plug in chargers."

"Plates and cups provided for breakfast on Sat 8th August were dirty and needed replacing. Our room up two flights of stairs, no lifts to carry up two suitcases. Realise we could have used concierge service, but this restriction was not shared with us until arrival."

"Communication was very frustrating as despite messaging via Hotels.com (once it had been booked - 3 months before our stay)and then later by a bit of detective work emailing directly. This was just to get details i.e. postcode, info re local places to eat etc, the first communication was at 5.45pm on the day of check in i.e. after the check in time of 2pm.
