"What kept Keswick Country House from one star is the old style charm of the hotel. The experience itself, however, was disappointing. We happened to be there during a heat wave for this part of the world. We also had a west facing room. I don't fault the hotel for not having A/C. It only needs it ..."

"We had a very comfortable stay and there was a good selection of food for breakfast - hot and cold. Also had an evening meal there - again very good and staff attentive."

"Our 3rd floor room was terrible. It was a warm night and the window only opened around 2 inches. Because the room was in the eves, the window side of the bed was almost inaccessible. The floor creaked with every step and the bathroom extractor was very noisy. The bed however was very comfortable. ..."
