The hotel is in a lovely location and quiet. The bedrooms have everything you need, shutters to keep the sun out in the early morning, a nice powerful shower, comfortable bed & good views. The hotel also offers a shuttle to St Paul de Vence which is really great at 11am, 3pm and 7pm enabling you to eat out in the town in the evenings as there is a shuttle pick up too. Getting an Uber is also easy and about 13 euro each way. The staff at reception, housekeeping and spa are attentive and welcoming. The downside of the hotel is the food, in Bistro Dolce Provenza the food is ok but not wonderful which I would have expected, the food requires more flavours. Other couples who we spoke to said the same thing. A couple did praise La Table de Pierre but I had been dissuade by the experience in the bistro. Also on our last day I noticed the La Table de Pierre restaurant offers an à la carte menu which I wasn’t aware about (thought only the tasting menus were available). We had a ceasar salad for lunch at 28 euros, very simple, the bread was forgotten on 1 occasion and on the other occasion we had to remind. The salad also varied from day to day, 1 day it had olives, the next day it didn’t, then on another day an egg materialised and then on another day there were no olives or egg, all rather odd as I would have expected consistency. Also at lunchtime (13.00 again not overly busy) after 10 mins I collected my own menu. There was only 1 member of staff in the bar area. 1 meal had to be

Thank you for an absolutely amazing stay again! Everything was perfect! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The spa is the nicest we have ever been to. The restaurants serve excellent food and La Table should probably have a Michelin star! It really is our favourite hotel and we look forward coming back next year!
