"We weren't prepared for how remote this property is and the extended rainy season made it even more so with very poor road conditions. Be sure to stock up on EVERYTHING you'll need before going up there as a trip to any store or restaurant will be lengthy. We had to leave after staying only one of our two nights as we just didn't have enough food. There is a restaurant on the property which would have been a complete game changer but it wasn't open during our visit in mid-November. The times...

"We loved the layout of the property with individual cabins surrounding the pool area. Beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have a kitchen and hot shower! Would stay here again!"

"The staff were great ! The location is conveniently 15-20 mins to Tamarindo, which can save you a lot on the cost of staying in tamarindo. You can also arrange shuttle with them from the airport which is only about an hour away. The host is SUPER responsive through WhatsApp. You can also, pay through their payment system there and they will give you cash which is a great way to avoid looking for an ATM. "

"This is a great place in the forest about 25 minutes to some popular beaches. We loved exploring the area. The cabin was super clean and comfortable and the deck area is beautiful to have coffee while listening to the howley monkeys. The pool area is nicely set up for photo opps. The cherry on top is that they're pet friendly. We will stay again. "

"The entire property was very well kept and clean, the hosts were very caring and went out of their way to grab us some groceries since we didn’t have a car. We came to surf Avellanas and walking wasn’t bad. If you are planning to do anything other than surf I would grab a rental car. If I return to the Avellanas area I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay at villas vibras again!"

"The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. We spent a lot of time on the patio and the pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Dave was very helpful and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend! "
