"Clean room, friendly staff, clean towels, shampoo + body wash + hand soap provided, every morning cleaners were always around the hallway to get more toilet roll / amenities as needed. The only “downside” was the hotel is quite out the way from the centre, it’s about 30 minute walk and there’s a free boat that runs 24/7 to take you across the river - also there’s a lot of local bars / restaurants along the way so you can gain a more authentic vibe. If you have mobility issue though and get cabs...

"Wonderful hotel, clean room, fantastic location. Breakfast in the hotel is very nice, and I especially enjoyed the filtered water dispensers that are on every floor. It is walkable to everything, about 10-15 minutes from central station and 15 or so to the museumplein for reference. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"Beautiful grand old hotel.the staff were incredibly helpful and the concierge was always at hand to guide you in the right direction. My room was stunning and had a lovely canal view. Breakfast buffet was very good and had some healthy options, but the best part of the hotel was the wellness spa and the warm pool that made you feel you were under the nights sky. Highly recommend. However, please note the restaurant is closed (although there are bar snacks) and a few elevators weren’t working...
