"Large, modern and well equipped room with beautiful views over the city and a small balcony. The restaurant and bar area is very pleasant, on the rooftop with great views. Food is a little hit and miss. Just worth noting that prices on the menu don’t include taxes. When these are included, this, together with service, adds a third to the bill. This is really misleading and could be easily fixed. Excellent value overall though. "

"Only spent one night, family of four. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the lovely staff, served tea and asked about our dinner preferences. The place is marvelous - a tranquil oasis - the weather wasn't great, but it must be even more magical when the sun is out. Very walkable location - to the city in minutes! The only negative is that the hotel could not handle the volume of guests at breakfast. Many dishes were empty and kept empty for ages. The hoppers we ordered took 2 hours to come! This was the day after the Randoli Perahera so is assume they were not equipped...

"we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this."
