"The bungalow was nice, spacious, especially the terrace overlooking the mountain forest was beautiful. The food was good and we also appreciated a good bottle of wine with dinner. It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. "

"What a charming hostess was Joan & her entire staff. Daniels cooking was superb & under not the easiest of conditions.We felt very close to nature here.Having booked through Expedia we had no tour operators & so did all our liaison with the lodge re transfer from Kisoro air strip & back, Gorilla permits, village tours etc. Joan we will never forget you & your beautiful family.My wife cried with emotion when she saw the Gorillas.
