"Very nice place to stay – far better than the photos suggest. Rooms were air-conditioned which was a massive bonus during the heat wave. Lovely public areas to socialise in. Only downside was an unhelpful receptionist he really couldn’t be bothered."

"Very convenient if coming in using Eurostar. From the train arrival, we were in the hotel within 10 mins. Friendly staff, my room was near corner so larger than average compared to my friends. Very unlikely I’ll be in Lille again but highly recommend anyone who does go to book here."

"Parking was relatively limited but I found a space. The desk staff were helpful, the room was clean and reasonably quiet. Breakfast was very limited but adequate (coffee, juice, croissants was enough). Very good value."

My only two criticisms were that the eggs were pretty bad, and one of the lifts was out of order (which was a pain for us with a pushchair). Also: just give us teabags. The loose leaf kept coming out of the strainers leaving leaves floating in my tea"
