"Interesting and beautiful hotel set in lovely parkland and gardens. Good food in the brasserie and useful to know that one of the three restaurants is open each day. Plenty of parking and an hour from Calais so an excellent stopover."

Admittedly I did opt for one of the rooms on the lower priced end of the scale but didn’t expect the room to be unclean, just not as well appointed and modern. However the walls were stained, carpet was bare, edges of the room were thick with dust and dirt, the shower tray floor tiles were stained and black around the drain and I couldn’t bring myself to sit on the...

"Location and food were good. Toiletries were limited and room was small. Staff in general was very helpful but one employee did respond with a check the tourist office. There was a large music festival on the Sunday in town that I would think they would be informed."

"We arrived after a 5.5 hr drive and dropped our stuff in the room and went for dinner with our 2 dogs … when we returned to our ‘accessible’ room we were very tired and it was late … upon investigation there were human blonde hairs on the sofa, someone’s scrunchie on the floor next to the bed, the accessible shower floor was dirty, the taps were dirty and there’s was no handwash next to the sink, which was also dirty along with the skirting boards next to the bed … I wasn’t even sure that the...
