"Retired Hotel chain chief engineer. Needed a cheap place for 4 nights. Read all the reviews. Knew I booked a 2 star hotel. It did not disappoint. Location was the thing. Feet from the beach. 7-11 across the street. However do not judge the hotel from the outside appearance. It has been weather battered because of its location for many years. The room was impeccably clean! No bugs. No evidence of ever being any. Room was very accommodating. But if you don't mind a little foot traffic and street noise you will wake up to a magnificent sunrise right outside your door! Ask for a bayside room. "
