"Caravan is lovely and comfortable, though can be noisy in stormy weather, though otherwise it's a quiet location. Drive is quite steep for parking. Fantastic views over Loch Long. Access drive is a single road, is quite steep in places and it can be tricky to find the caravan."

"We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Hawthorn Lodge Chalet on Arran. It is a basic, practical and functional chalet, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is very good value for those looking for somewhere simple and relaxing. The chalet is spacious, with a lovely veranda that is perfect for sitting out in the evening and enjoying the surroundings. The hot shower was also very welcome after a day out exploring.
