"Perfect location, walking distance to everything you need. Great pool with step down into pool which I need. We had two seperate rooms because we needed 2 bathrooms for the four of us and rooms were clean and spacious with outside seating. Very friendly staff."

"Lamie's Inn had rustic charm beyond my expectations, even down to actual keys to access your room. The decor and feel of the property matched its historic description. Side note: there were only stairs to reach the second floor. Rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff was very attentive. The front desk staff was probably my favorite part of Lamie's. They always had warm, friendly smiles and welcomed a conversation. The continental breakfast buffet was very appreciated each day. I enjoyed two meals at The Old Salt Restaurant and would recommend the fresh haddock or sea scallops!"

"Amazing property but the first night the smoke detector failed and woke us up repeatedly. It was replaced with a used unit the next day and in the middle of the night it went off again as the battery was dead. You would think they would have at least replaced the battery. It’s a shame that what could have been a great stay was ruined by a bad smoke detector. Of note I was taking a class and was exhausted 2 of the three days"

"The room was clean, but minimal. What you pay for is the ocean view and access. Don't expect a 5 star hotel and you will be delighted. Staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Parking is adequate. The pool is heated to a beautiful 90° or so. Very nice to lounge in on a cool evening. We will definitely be going back."

"A very sweet old inn. The magnolia room was very clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. I enjoyed the coffee station right outside the door and the bottled water in the min-fridge was a nice bonus. The shared bathroom was newly updated and very clean. The front porch rockers were lovely to sit and read. There is currently no food on site so bring your own or dine out- the owners provide a good book of suggestions. It’s an easy .6 mile walk to beautiful North Beach which is much less crowded than the main Hampton beach area. There is wifi on the property but cell service in this area is spotty. This place is perfect if you are looking for a quiet, simple-no frills place close to the beach."
