"I don't know who is giving 10 out of 10 on these reviews.
The room was not clean. There was food visible on the chair, there was trash underneath the chair. There was considerable dust on the tangled phone cable. Blood stains on the sheets.
The fridge was pulled out of the cabinet and sitting in the middle of the floor. The microwave displayed an error code, but managed to work one minute at a time. One of compact fluorescent bulb lamps flickered in vain, but failed to work.

"Coyote South was a wonderful option for low cost high quality stay in Santa Fe. The service and welcome was excellent. The rooms were older and small but functionally comfortable, and some quaint details that make it low-end boutique hotel vs other low-cost options. It was a little loud at night, but expected with the location. The best part of the rooms were the comfortable beds - soft, cotton bedding (no polyester!) and just the right warmth level. The Keurig in the rooms made great coffee...
