"Staff not friendly or helpful. No help with luggage and very narrow doors too. WiFi was almost non existent which is a problem if you need to work. Shower looked dirty and smelled sour. Windows didn’t stay home and it was hot. But that is probably for the best since pigeons rooster right next to window and woke us up. Setting is charming. Loved the idea of it. Does have a lift."

"The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...
