"I am giving this stay two stars only because of a few positive interactions with specific staff members; otherwise, the management and operational failures would warrant a lower rating. This is an outdated property that suffers from a severe lack of leadership and efficiency.
The Check-In & Lobby Experience
The "service" model here is baffling. Every guest is attended by two staff members simultaneously, yet this does not make the process faster or smoother. In fact, checking in was significantly delayed. The lobby is filled with staff roaming around, seemingly with the sole intention of ignoring customers.
Room Quality & Service
• Missing Essentials: Basic items like washcloths and hand towels are apparently not part of the regular room setup. We had to call multiple times just to get these delivered.
• Communication Breakdown: Obtaining a simple active folio or getting a clear answer on where resort credits could be used felt like a mission rather than a basic request.
The Checkout Disaster
Checkout took a grueling 45 minutes. There was only one person working the front desk while five concierge staff congregated in the lobby nearby; not a single one was willing to step in or assist their colleague. Furthermore, the staff gave us a very hard time regarding our prepaid Expedia transportation, repeatedly attempting to double-charge us despite proof of payment.
