"Charming old fashion Adirondack rustic style / decor individual small cabins (also has motel-styled rooms) - parking either in front of rooms or between cabins, a couple of minutes outside Chestertown, NY, 30 minutes from Schroon Lake, and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga (StarTrek Museum & Fort). Very nice, friendly, and accomidating owners / operators. Breakfast / coffee place "Two Sparrows" 5 minutes down the road. Driveway very well lite / marked at night, although wish those lights had...

"The room was clean, and the staff were polite, pleasant, and welcoming. Despite the hotel appearing quite full, it was incredibly quiet around us, and we slept very well. Overall, we had a good impression of the hotel.
The main downside was the excessive humidity in the room. The towels felt constantly damp, which made them unpleasant to use, and the bedding also felt noticeably damp. This was quite uncomfortable and is something the hotel should definitely address."

"Overall I was satisfied with my staff. Based on the picture on the site I thought I was getting a small cottage and instead it was a motel room. Having said that the room did have a deck off the back with a brook that bubbled past. The only other gripe would be the mattress was too soft for our liking and a spring would pop every time I would get out of bed."
