"This is the first place we checked in in our trip which includes 4 other hotels. We were surprised to see the place. It was spacious, clean, cozy with cabin cottage style. The place had all we need for a comfortable stay. It is close to the shopping/ dining area. Our room also had a beautiful view of the mountains. We regret not booking another night there. We would like to go back to this property in the future. "

"The Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe is a very impressive property sitting on top of a mountainside in the Northstar resort area about halfway between Truckee and Kings Beach. "Our very quaint little one bedroom cabin that sleeps 4 was fully equipped with linens, towels, and basic toiletries. The kitchenette was well equipped with coffee pot and supplies, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and stove. Dining table for 4. Beach towels were available too. Our cabin was among the big trees and across the street from their private beach with lounge chairs and dock. Heated pool was a "refreshing" temperature and needed some skimming. "I wish that I would've had more time here, we had a cute little studio and it was so nice! hot tub and pool right on the lake -- perfect for chillin in the AM or PM"

"Although the parking structure had a problem with the drive in door entrance, the staff jumped to work and got us in a nice room in no time. Some roof construction going on, but all workers were polite. "

"We were truly blown away at how picturesque this resort truly was when we arrived! The staff was welcoming and friendly, our room was beautiful, and access to the game room and the pool was easy. The activity staff were really kind to our daughter and made our stay even more enjoyable. Though several things were closed due to the off-season, we were still able to find things to eat for breakfast and lunch and in between exploring nearby Tahoe."

"Really close to Crystal Bay casino for shows. It's a small mom-pa place. It's not extravagant if that's what you're looking for. Perfect for going to North shore sitting on the beach and catching a show at night."

"Pet friendly, they even have a water bowl by the elevator. There are other places that are more pet friendly, providing dishes, beds, toys and even poop bags. But, I would definitely stay here again. Clean, modern, great parking and plenty of walks trails to take your dog."
