"Check in process made difficult with lack of communication - no towels - shower broken "

"Dirty, very poor health and safety. No lighting on the stairs or entry to the building or apartment. No evidence of CO monitor. Cutlery dirty and only enough for 3 and not 4 guests. Only 3 sests, all of which wobbly with screws missing and unstable to sit on. Crockery dirty and damaged and only enough for 3. Bedside cabinet fallen apart. Sofa beds supposed to be double, but were single and 1 broken and heavily stained. Cigarette butt found on the floor. Only 3 towels provided. Gap around shower...

"It was an unpleasant experience. The host didn't reply to a text message enquiry before I travelled. Once arriving in the property the only way we could contact the host was through text message. We booked the accommodation for two people but the beddings for the sofa bed were not clean. The room was not clean. The kitchen sink hot water tap did not work. We could not have a shower before the water was too hot and we could not adjust the temperature. This was not acceptable and we hope the host...

"Property was okay, there was staining around shower basin seals and rust where the toilet brush etc had not been replaced in a LONG time. Glad I brought my own kitchen utensils with me as everything at the property was damaged. Couldn’t even leave a fresh dish sponge for a new stay so questioned how clean the place actually was. The Lino in the kitchen was damaged in places and the fridge had been turned off and leaked into the kitchen floor. Also staining / dirt on sofa so couldn’t really...

"1) Checkin details were not provided - I had to contact Hotels.com and wait ±1hr outside in the windy street to get these. Checkin was 4pm but I couldnt get in until 90 mins later. 2) Once inside the building; Entrance hall filthy with full black bags in corner, wall staining, filthy carpets, laundry cages strewn. No-one around at all, felt very unsafe. 3) Once inside the flat, it felt like someone had just left in a rush, but I couldnt be sure until I had gone through the apartment. Spooky....

"Room was ok but there were no towels not even a tea towel. It was clean and comfortable but bring a towel! Very close to town centre and the med restaurant under it was brilliant! I had to contact them to get the code. "

"Originally booked in at the Adagio Aparthotel but a long term group booking meant my room was no longer available. This was handled well though as they notified me in advance and transferred me to Novotel at same rate with breakfast included. The Novotel was in top condition and very comfortable room and bed. Very odd basin choice as no way to fill it as a modern design with no plug (maybe I'm old fashioned). Only minor quibble is comms and info available about restaurant times for breakfast....
