"Check-in staff was welcoming and professional. The place was clean. However, I would definitely not rate this resort anymore as luxury for these reasons - no attention to detail such as lack of maintenance in hotel and surrounding (broken bathroom doors, screens not fitting in windows properly, deck glass was moldy and rundown so didn't sit outside, children's play area was not safe and equipment not all put together, room was outdated and old with mismatched material for headboard and chairs,...

"This was potentially the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I've never stayed in a room with such poor sound proofing before and sleeping was miserable. You could hear EVERY time someone opened their door. It didn't help that the bar had karaoke playing super loudly too on Friday and Saturday night. You could hear everything. The guy working at the front desk was lovely but there's only so much you can do to block the noise. It was hard to fall asleep before 1am and I was woken up both mornings...

"Room photos on expedia showed a room that had been nicely renovated but our room was one that clearly hadn't been done yet. Place didn't seem full so I'm guessing not very many rooms look like the pictures. There is a pretty big difference between the room we got and the pictures they show so it's hard not to feel a bit deceived.
