"Room was large and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet allows g for a good night of sleep. The bathroom is large, great water pressure and temperature. I only stayed one night and didn’t get to explore the amenities, but what I saw was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"The staff were so lovely and accommodating! Our room was luxurious and we had a lovely view of the river. They even put a happy birthday dessert plate in the room for my husband- very kind! I do want to say that the leisure/pool center was quite a disappointment. It is very outdated and so dirty that I didn't even end up putting my suit on to use the facilities. "Beautiful hotel very close to Bunratty Castle and short drive to Shannon Airport."

"A fantastic hotel. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. The room was very very good. The view of Cashel was amazing. Breakfast was excellent and the staff called us by name after one meeting. We would definitely love to return. And the Guinness in the Guinness Bar was the best!"

"It's a decent place to stay. The staff is great. Just aging and so many little details in poor condition. And now this isn't the hotels fault per say but very noisy. Walls were paper thin and could hear other rooms talking and TV playing. Heater was on in my bathroom and the knob was broken so couldn't turn it off."

"Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again."

"This B&B is FANTASTIC! Beautiful room, immaculately clean, wonderful hosts that went above and beyond, can’t be happier with the stay. Lovely breakfast in the morning, and great spot in Athlone."
