"There was no toilet brush in the bathroom, no extractor fan to take away smells and shower steam. There was no side table on one side of the bed, glasses of water, cups of tea, mobile phone and personal items had to placed on the floor beside the bed. Room was clean and tidy"

"Lack of kitchen facilities on 23rd March was disappointing but managed by customer facing staff reasonably well. The hotel facilities are looking tired (eg fireplace in lounge covered in dust and fluff). Opportunities missed to champion Yorkshire produce (food, drink, souvenirs, Newspapers etc) at what could be Yorkshire Coasts premier hotel. Our first return visit since Covid and somewhat disappointed. Would be happy to speak with Management if they are interested in Customer feedback."

"Great location. Sea view rooms overlook the town and harbour with wonderful views to the Abbey. The bar is lively and well run with plenty of staff. The breakfast is buffet style with lots of options and the restaurant room has nice decor."
