"The place is clean the staff is great. The problem is the fees! They hold $200 a day for incidentals and they charge $28 a day for self parking so if you’re not expecting it or on a strict budget this hotel is not a good stay. I recommend the wine tasting and the spa if you can swing it"

"The Lodge is located very near the fairgrounds and very close to the restaurant mentioned in the description of the Lodge. We parked our car and did not use it until we left. The Lodge has a beautiful setting to sit and watch the variety of boats and water "toys" I on the lake. Be prepared to find a breakfast place; the "free" breakfast has good coffee. If we come to another event at the fairgrounds we will book at the lodge."

"Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the property was peaceful and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful during every shift we encountered. The room was clean, comfortable, and made for a relaxing getaway. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
SureStay Hotel by Best Western Helen Downtown

"During our stay no one cleaned our room and we had to call the front desk for new towels everyday. The breakfast is subpar and ants were seen near the food. The breakfast is all cold items but there is microwaveable sandwiches. The suite we booked is nothing like what the picture shows. The picture they use for the suite is either A.I, fake, or some other place. The suite bathroom was very small and had no counterspace at all. Only one person could fit in the restroom at a time. The place definitely looked like it needed maintenance as well. There were cigarette burn marks on the bathroom door and the room was just generally poorly maintained. The door latch on the room did not seem very secure. The wifi is very slow and was not usable, and would not even load images. Not worth $460... Will stay somewhere else next time."

"No coffee available. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and pillows horrible. I could barely sleep at all on the bedding provided. This is an extended stay place obviously. I should’ve been tipped off by price- just wouldn’t want to stay there again. The staff were very friendly."
