"Charming little motel. Clean rooms, comfy bed and stocked with soap and shampoo etc. We felt safe, dead bolts, code locks and well lit at night. View was amazing. If I ever need to return to Iowa I would not hesitate to stay here again. Staff was helpful and friendly. Felt like a cabin not a motel (we were in the King and Queen Suite) "

"This is, indeed, a motel for sportsmen. Our room had a backwoods theme, but was also prepped for folks coming in from a day in the backwoods. I think it’s being upgraded room by room (lots of building supplies blocking a couple of rooms), and kudos to whoever is taking in what seems to be a labor of love. The motel is not actually in Dorchester- don’t let Google misdirect you- and is quite isolated, so bring your own breakfast. But it’s also in the heart of the Driftless, which is a wonderful...
