"I booked what was advertised as a picturesque lakefront cabin. Instead, when I checked in, I was directed to what appeared to be a small shed-like structure in the middle of a parking lot. It was not lakefront, did not resemble the accommodation shown in the listing, and was absolutely not what I paid for.
I was assigned "cabin" #440, yet the only cabins I could find were numbered 1, 2, and 3. After multiple phone calls, being told to keep trying keys that did not work, and being instructed to try other units despite them being occupied, I finally insisted that someone come out and help me in person.
That is when I was shown the parking lot structure I had supposedly booked.
I repeatedly explained that I had specifically paid for a lakefront cabin. I was told that all lakefront cabins were occupied. I pointed out that I had booked a lakefront cabin and that one of the visible cabins appeared vacant.
After 15 minutes of arguing, I was moved to a lakefront motel room, which staff repeatedly described as an "upgrade."
Unless you don't mind paying premium lakefront cabin prices and potentially ending up in what looks like a shed in a parking lot or being told that a low-quality motel room is an "upgrade," then by all means, book here. Otherwise, I would not recommend this property."
