"Staff was super helpful, location was great, close to a lot of shops and restaurants, if I came back to Kyoto, I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Hotel is right in the most action-filled areas of Kyoto, but as soon as you enter the lobby, it is peaceful. We had a party of three adults, so we booked one of the adjoining set of rooms, providing the luxury of two baths. Breakfast had good variety of Japanese and Western items, not quite as refined as other comparable hotels during our trip, but quite enjoyable. Pro tip: the coffee machine in the lobby next to the breakfast room makes better coffee than the one in the breakfast room. Overal, great visit. Would recommend."

"The location of this hotel is great. It has access to the underground walkway from the metro to make it very easy to access. It is located right on the busy street with access to many resturants and the market. The lobby is small with only 1 restroom. They do offer a buffet breakfast but we did not try it. They have a free coffee machine and you get a free glass of Sake each night as well. The room was tiny and felt like cruise ship with a tiny window. Walls were thin; could hear the next door neighbors alarm go off and each time they hit snooze on it as well. Staff was nice. It's an adequate choice. "
