"We were in town for a funeral. Check in was at 1:00 pm and the funeral was at 2:00. We got to the hotel at 12:45 and the reception was extremely rude. She said the room wasn’t ready and we were early. I told her it was no problem, we knew we were a bit early and could wait until the 1:00 check in time. She said that they hadn’t even started cleaning our room and she was mumbling under her breath and be very ugly about it. "The hotel was fairly nice, but bring your heavy winter coat because your room will be freezing cold when you get there! Your breakfast, while tasty will be stone cold by the time you get to your table. There was also a noticeable bad smell in the hallways, like the smell of sewer gas. I don't think this property deserves being rated in the 8.0 - 9.0 range. It really was in the 7.5 range. "Rooms smell very old and smoky I. What was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Also the bed was falling apart and the tub and shower was old and needed to be updated."

"clean room but microwave was rusty and corroded inside. Told front desk that it was no need to replace it because I wasnt going to use it anyway. The refrigerator was clean. Bathroom sink and tub had some a few leftover hairs in them. Room smelled a little smoky but I sprayed lysol in air conditioner and on the curtains to refresh the air and room.
