"Kitchen needed a good clean and I was bitten through the night by something so bug spray would have been helpful but overall the place was very neat and tidy and loads of room "

"I loved the fact that the property had so much kitchen utensils, pots, pans, rice cooker ect. Very different to the 3 useless pans at other accomodations I’ve stayed at in the past. Loved the privacy of the property. The quietness and the views!
Only downside was the second room didn’t have bedding only a blanket on top. But other than that would definitely recommend and book here again. "

"The best place to stay in Tasmania. Avalon Coastal Retreat is an awesome place to stay. The location and space is unrivalled with sweeping views over Coles Bay to Freycinet Nat Park and pure architectural elegance of the accomodation was stunning. We could not have been more relaxed and rested. We enjoyed the open fire, the nigh stars, the walk down to a private beach, lunch at nearby Piermont restaurant, wine tasting down the road at Mayfield and a trip around the bay to walk to beautiful...

"This is a hard review because the property was very good. However, when we arrived, there was no key in the lock box and the house was unlocked. No one had communicated with us that there were any issues. We had to call to find out what was going on and a key was delivered to us 90 minutes later. The house smelled of pet urine. We opened windows, found a mop and bucket, and mopped the entire place - that helped. The rules are that you wash and put away all dishes, however, everything in the...
