"The location and property are absolutely beautiful! Incredible views! The grounds are kept meticulously! The rooms are clean and neat. The rooms are simple and yet elegant at the same time. The staff were very forgiving of my limited Spanish. A little harder to get to but worth the drive. The restaurant on property was excellent. Just a small sidenote… There was no air conditioner in my smaller room. I knew this going into it and the nice breeze that was almost constant."

"We only stayed one night. We chose Posado Río Celeste La Amistad to swim in the blue Rio Celeste River on their property. This was the perfect place to get a $ 5 USD-a-piece ticket within walking distance of the hotel. It's family-owned, and they take such pride in their establishment. "Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. "Beautiful hotel! The ground are amazing and the hot springs are a highlight The kindest and most accommodating staff I've staff ever encountered!!! Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. The only things I'd improve is the breakfast offering and some additional lighting during the night as it can get a little dark. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in La Fortuna"
