"Not happy with this stay at all & it was only for 1 night before our flight left the next day. We spent 2 weeks in Europe & this had to be the worse hotel we stayed at. Gentleman behind the desk was very rude & when I tried to get his name to complain, he took his name tag off. I guess they only treat americans like this. "Great location bang opposite the main station, few good supermarkets next to it as well. As we were the first guest to check in to the hotel we were welcomed by a nice bottle of wine & some chocolates too. Highly recommend this hotel for a short stay or even a bit longer. Look forward to coming again to Schaffhausen and city pop."

"Older hotel about 15mins tram ride to old town. Air conditioning not up to Australian/American standards - in 35C heat room only cooled 3C below so really not much respite from hot weather. Clean, comfortable and fresh."

"The staff and room were absolutely amazing. The only downside was it is quite a bit further from the airport than you would imagine… a 20-30min walk. There is a bus that you can take which drops off very close, but we did not realize this until we arrived on foot. We ate in the restaurant and the food was adequate but below average for Switzerland. However, for an airport-style hotel we were overall impressed and would stay here again."
