"The hotel, location and staff were excellent. It was just what we needed after a few days in Edinburgh and a long drive. Loved the self-service laundry facilities too. Although, they need to find ways to prevent guests leaving their clothes in for longer than needed. Breakfast was also good. I woukd definitely stay there again. Special thanks to Hayley on the front desk who came down to meet us and collected our bags, when we were trying to find parking."

"Our stay was enjoyable. Check-in was a bit confusing, as we weren't told to check in at the bar when we called the day before to confirm our reservation. We booked a twin room, which was a great size and not cramped. The room and bathroom are modern compared to the rest of the hotel; it was like stepping back in time in the hallway and stairway.

"A really lovely stay - bed super comfortable. Staff at check in very good. I stayed in club deluxe room - room was stunning. All feedback was on the second floor no elevator and I had a really heavy case - however staff helped me. No mirror to blow dry hair - however I mentioned to reception, they said they had mirrors there I could use - perhaps be helpful to mention at check or simply put in room to anticipate the needs of guests. All in all fantastic hotel will definitely be returning."
