"AC was an issue. Would run real cold, then shut off until uncomfortable, then repeat the cycle. Took almost all night for the fridge to cool. Pool did not seem chemically safe for use. Vending machines only on first floor... old, badly maintained and poor selections. Inadequate closet/drawer space. General disrepair. Breakfast was uninspiring. Overrated online. Not a good value."

"Hotel rooms are dated, but there is a lot to do at that location. The sports bar is great - scenic, right in the river. Several food options, casino has three levels, and hotel is in a convenient location. "

"The property was clean. However, be aware that there is no elevator to 2nd floor and the first floor was not ground level. Had to use small set of stairs to get to first floor rooms. No coffee in the room, which is unusual these days. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was typical continental. It was okay. All in all it was an okay stay. Main thing is it was clean and convenient for a one night stay."

"First room the bathroom plugs didn't work! They sent a repairman who spoke very little English. The breakers would trip every time you plugged something in. He asked if we wanted a new room! We said yes. They gave us a handicap room. That was all they had left a 9:30pm. So not exactly what we had a reservation for. These hotels have little kitchens but supply you with nothing. So, it doesn't do you any good to have the kitchen! They have no breakfast either! Won't ever stay at this hotel or Myplace hotels again!!"

"The room was not in good space. The bed sheets were dirty and blanket has burn marks on them. The bottom wall by the floor was sticking out with nails. Right outside the parking lot area there are people sleeping in cars. The only good thing I can say about the motel is the staff was helpful at front desk about checking in and out"

"Room was a bit dirty. Hair in the bathtub and on the sheets. Was too exhausted from a long road trip to care, but wanted to mention it as others may be grossed out."

"The view of the river is worth a room with a view! If you want to enjoy the view even more, choose a patio river view room. The pool area is closed unless it is summer. I truly wish the hot tub could be open in the spring and fall. The restaurant is a must, excellent food and great staff."
