"I booked a stay at the Vagabond last year because there was a concert and nothing else was available. I was surprised - it was an updated room that was clean with friendly staff. The breakfast was good too. So I rebooked this year for a conference.
I arrived. I waited in the lobby for about 10 minutes before any staff came in to check me in. I was given a room that might have been cleaned. I noticed shoe marks on the on the floor in the bathroom, some "cream" on the shower walls, and...

"Surprised by $10 parking fee charged by the hotel. This is new and I wasn't informed of. "The room was clean and seemed refurbished with new furniture and floor. The check-in Kiosk was a bit of an issue because it has an AI bot and they chose an Indian person as the avatar. The issue was, it had an accent I could not understand at times, so check-in wa a little slow. I never could get on the internet. After getting the wi-fi chosen, I tried to log in with their password and it would just kick me out and back to the 'choose wi-fi" settings page. I tried a dozen times and just gave up...

"Thunder Valley Casino was honestly pretty underwhelming. The food was just so-so, nothing memorable at all. The room felt like a very slight upgrade from a Motel 6 — definitely not what I expected for the price. The most entertaining part of the trip was honestly watching the homeless people gambling, which was kind of wild in its own way. Overall, not the Vegas-style experience they try to market. Probably wouldn’t make a special trip back."

"We stayed here for a weekend getaway, and everything about our experience was excellent. The entire facility was very clean — even the hallways were spotless without a single piece of trash on the floor.
We booked an Executive King Suite, and the room was impressively clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.
The staff truly made our stay memorable. Everyone we interacted with was cordial, respectful, and extremely helpful. Their professionalism and kindness stood out.
