"Loved the fireplaces (although didn't use them in July) and the overall ambiance. Very clean property; the staff was more than helpful. Breakfast was a bit meh, but I found food I could enjoy (I don't eat waffles as a rule). Felt safe and secure and comfortable, which is what is important for me as a single woman traveler."

"It was a one night stopover. Dated rooms. Air conditioner loud and blew directly on the bed. No towel racks and No Hair Dryer. Five stars to the VFW, only restaurant in town, people very friendly and food was good."
