"Staff was great, breakfast was adequate, no housekeeping services, pool (no water), or laundry facilities (used as storage area). Rooms need updates and deep cleaning."
"We checked in and on the way to our 1st floor room saw the exterior door wide open for anyone to come in. We entered our room to a terrible smell. The window lock was broken so it could be opened from inside or outside.
We changed rooms and the next room had a big smash in the door reminding me of The Shining movie. Bed base frame was broken and the “leather” sit down ottoman was ripped for about 12 inches. Didn’t try the continental breaksfast but it looked quite “old”. I wouldn’t stay here again if ther was no other place within 50 miles."
Comfort Inn & Suites Ponca City near Marland Mansion
6/10 Okay
"It was definitely dated. Plenty of parking in the back. The lady at the front desk was super personable and helpful. They have lemon water up front as well as coffee. The room was clean, but smelled old and kind of musty; my clothes even had that smell when I left. Thankfully I brought my earplugs, because it was louuuud. Every time someone left or entered their room, the door would slam and I could hear it loud and clear. The last thing I'll say is there are three things I look at when I book a hotel- Ratings, location, and free breakfast. This one had good ratings, the location was pretty central, but the breakfast :( Yikes. If you're counting on a good breakfast to start your day, maybe hit McDonald's."
"Beds were smaller than a queen, tvs didnt work after 2 days of being there so my toddler and infant had nothing to watch, I contacted the front desk. They said maintenance would be there but he never came so we just sat in silence for the rest of our ri.e there. The sheets on the bed had stains we didnt notice until we were getting ready for bed our first night there. One stain look like blood and tbe other stains look like greasy food stains. Be prepared to unexpectedly pay $50 before checking in. I had my room paid in full in advanced and was still charged $50 for no damages, and then an additional $32 that i didn't authorize nor was informed of being charged just for checking out. The breakfast they offer is just oatmeal prepackaged waffles bagels and toast. Keep in mind I paid over $700 for my stay so in my opinion stay at comfort inn because they actually provide a hot breakfast."
"So glad we trusted the reviews! Super clean room, and friendly, helpful staff. Basics only hotel, but a great place to sleep on a road trip. When they say continental breakfast, believe them. Coffee only, no tea, no hot items or fruit, but there was orange juice, 3 cereals, white and wheat bread, peanut butter for toast, and a few packaged items like muffins and biscotti. Enough to fill you up if you don’t have time toSoft facial and toilet tissues, Dove shampoo (no conditioner). Freight lines run past hotel, but didn’t bother us. Hotel was quiet on a week night. The hair dryer didn’t work, and when I mentioned that at checkout, she said they would have brought another one to the room if I’d let them know. Overall, very pleased and would defenitely stay here again. (Did I mention how CLEAN it was?!)"
