"Clean and newly renovated. Great location and close to shopping and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. We really like the complementary coffee, tea juice station. When I booked the hotel it said “accommodates” 5 people but we were only given two queen beds. The suite was spacious but I was surprised because there was no sofa bed. We were able to make do since it was only a one night stop over."

"We were a little concerned when we arrived, as another guest's vehicle had been vandalised - windshield smashed and glass everywhere. There were no further incidents during our stay. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful, although we were not given the ticket for our free breakfast which delayed us eating. It was resolved in a timely manner though. An old, historic hotel and beautiful views over the water."

"The staff here were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. The property itself is very rundown. The pool tables and other games in the basement are stained and damaged to be mostly unuseable. Rooms vary significantly with the bathrooms in some having showers and vanities put together with painted plywood while others are much nicer. Don't book the cheaper rooms. The town itself is remote so don't expect to find a choice of places to eat. We did learn that the new management may be planning...
