"The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right in the middle of the main street with lots of dining options nearby. The hotel was also quiet and had a spacious breakfast area. We enjoyed the World War II artifacts throughout the hotel. It was like a mini museum in the hotel. There was also a little grocery store right next-door, which was handy for getting water bottles and snacks. "First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. "Loved the hotel . Amazing location . Would have liked it if they had coffee in the morning for the guests . Walkable to all restaurants. Easy to walk to pick up locations for tours . Clean . Nice bathroom . Our room was not air conditioned but they had a fan . With the window open it was cool at night ."

"We only stayed for one night & it is an excellent location for exploring the town. Our room was fairly basic but it was very quiet & very good air conditioning, which in the recent temperatures was most welcome. The staff were friendly & helpful & breakfast was fine with a pretty good selection."
