"Although this was another excellent example of where a former grand home has been turned into a hotel, it works and I liked the location close to the Queensway and Bayswater underground stations with connections via the Central, Circle, and District lines throughout London. The hotel room felt old and in need of a nice rennovation and upgrade. It was disappointingly small and cramped. My wife and I were ill for much of the time we were there but the staff were nice and the decor historic."

"The single room I booked was perfect for what I needed. Hot tea kettle, warm shower and a heater for when it got chilly. Clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was also great as it was close enough to all the sights you may want to see but being close to Kensington Gardens made it ideal for a morning stroll. I would stay here again.."

"The hotel is perfectly situated near the underground and buses. The friendly staff and clean rooms made our stay pleasant. We stayed on the ground floor and the room was a bit warm. If you prefer a firmer mattress, that might be a downside but overall everything was great."
