"I booked a hotel through Expedia and received a confirmation, only to arrive and be told the hotel never received my reservation from Expedia. As a result, they had no room for me. To make matters worse, this happened on a night when every other hotel in the area was fully booked (new years eve), leaving me without a place to stay. "This was our third trip to Casa Velas. We thought it couldn't get any better and then we saw the new breakfast menu and wine list. So glad to have some lighter options for breakfast, and the new wines are excellent. Of course it’s the staff that always makes us want to keep coming back.
