I had a great experience! 1000/10. I would highly recommend Rui Jambo to friends/ family. The bartenders make great drinks. The food is delicious and the views are amazing. The beaches are a bit crowded but you get over it.

My partner and I spent 8 nights at Riu Jambo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and overlooked the beach, which made for a beautiful setting. Housekeeping maintained it well, with daily cleaning that kept everything fresh and comfortable. The staff at Riu Jambo were outstanding — always full of energy, warm, and incredibly helpful. I unfortunately had an accident while in Zanzibar (unrelated to the hotel), and the way the staff supported me during my recovery was truly exceptional. They were accommodating, caring, and always ready to assist. A special thank you to William, who we often saw in the buffet dining room. He was a pleasure to speak with and always made sure my partner and I were comfortable and well looked after. The rest of the breakfast and dinner team were equally amazing — attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our stay. While the food could be a little repetitive at times, there was a wide variety and something to suit everyone’s tastes. If I return to Zanzibar, I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you to everyone at Riu Jambo for making our experience so positive — a well-deserved 10/10!

This was a wonderful vacation experience. I would have rated my stay higher if not for the construction work being done on the north side of the property. It was very loud, and quite a scenic takeaway, considering that I booked a room with a balcony and ocean view. Aside from this let down, the staff, events, food, and overall property were lovely.

The place is lovely and nice beach. Entertainment was good too! Variety of cuisine but lacks vegan dishes/desserts hope they can add this to their list. Would definitely visit again and had a great family holiday.

Hotel is on side of island that is very chill and relax so to go into town must call taxi. Ride is about 30-40 min. Staff does great job of arranging taxi

We spent our 30 anniversary here and the hotel was great. We went on the safari to mikumi with Jack the guide he was the best. We got to see the Loin eatting a Zebra 5 ft from the jeep.
