Great location with a few minute walk to the beach or direct access down the stairs during low tide! The staff were great and they were also able to organize all the activities I wanted on the spot like local fishing and sunset sailing. This was the perfect place to relax for a few days at the end of the trip!

This hotel offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere with beautifully kept grounds, attentive staff, delicious menu items, and beautiful ocean views. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. However, it was disappointing that the pool was salt water and small especially considering that at this time of year there is no beach due (I gather from the staff) to the wind direction and depending on the tide it can be a fair walk to the sea. We had problems with our AC, the staff were helpful in getting it working but it was not very efficient. The resort prides itself on sustainable eco friendly tourism which is absolutely great so I was surprised when the waitress brought us bottled water (for $2.50 US) at dinner rather than a jug of the bulk mineral water (free) which the manager had shown me to cut down on plastic bottles. The ambiance of the resort is good and the location on the edge of Nungwi is a great mix of quiet with lively restaurants close by.

the room was good, however, we were there for 2 nights, the room was okay but we experienced power outages constantly through out our stay, at one point the power was out for at least 3 hours, i was told it was due to the area outages but they advertise having generators so that did not make sense to us, since we came during peak hot season. also the menu was the same for the 2 days we were there and I was not informed that soda's were not part of the full board package that we paid for. we could not utilize the beach due to corals and sea urchins. not a kids friendly hotel,

The Ocean view is amazing. You can walk on the Ocean during Low Tide. The private pool is awesome with ocean views. The staff was wondetful and on top of everything to ensure your stay is a great one! Laundry service is quick and done wrll. This is truely a hidden oasis and entry secured by gate and 24 hoIrs security.

Great place to stay in Zanzibar, in front of the beach. Staff is really good and does everything to serve. Location is walkable to restaurants and stores, through the beach or street. It was not a problem for us, but variety on breakfast is limited (at least the days we stayed there). This is a place to return.

Start with the hotel was beautiful! I was walking with a complementary juice. The staff was so nice and welcoming to me and they took my luggage and show me my room and later I had dinner which was amazing and their breakfast is also good. I only stayed for one night but it was a wonderful experience. The property has amazing views and a great to sun bathe. Definitely a Top stay in the Zanzibar area!

An oasis in a busy little beach town.

The staff at the Zanzibari hotel were exceptionally attentive and the service was always prompt. In a place where the main beach can be over run with tourists, it was such a pleasure to step into the quiet oasis that is the Zanzibari hotel grounds. This is a great gem of a property in Nungwi and would only improvements would be to upgrade the quality of the food, which was "safe" but very bland and to upgrade the plumbing issues in unit OC1.

This is a gorgeous , quiet boutique hotel. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. There is a small rocky orivate beach accessible during some tide times but only a 15 min walk to nungwi beach. Gorgeous views from all rooms and great staff!

What a fabulous ending after our mainland safari! This hotel has it ALL-incredible service and food with attention to our every need! Our room was steps from the Indian Ocean and absolutely spectacular every single day!
