New Bagan is about 20 minutes on the bike, which is about as far as you would probably explore anyways. All the great places to eat are very near the resort as well. You can also just rest at the resort. Their breakfast is great and there is a pool and spa are great."

"What a superb new hotel! VERY impressed. Myanmar is just starting to develop and many hotels simply don't cut it especially for what international tourists require. This is exceptionally well priced and you would pay a great deal more if closer to town for the same comfort. Unfortunately if you find the correct map it's located outside the main town and many locals don't know it. However in this case this is not a problem as everyone gets around on bicycles or e-bikes as Bagan historical...
