A slice of heaven

Magnificent traditional hotel overlooking Inle lake. Serene and calm. Staff were smiley, helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and modern. The gardens and estate were immaculate. A massage at the spa was worth every penny. Food was delicious and varied. Attention to detail second to none. I couldn’t recommend more! 10/10 & 5 stars. will 100% go back to this little slice of heaven

Endroit reposant au bord du magnifique Lac Inle. Ideal pour ceux qui veulent passer un srjour tranquille, se reposer , profiter des installations de l'hotel et manger a la salle a diner loin de la cohue de Nyaung Shwe.

The resort has so much potential but my stay felt a little short. I visited during low season and the hotel was pretty empty and therefore only the small dining room was open. The resort is located right on Inle Lake and has a great view of the lake as well as the sunset, and can arrange boat tours that takes off right from the deck. If you want to get out of the hotel you would have to use the hotel to call a car or rent a bike (this was the only hotel during my entire stay in Myanmar that charges for the bike). The staff is very friendly but could use more training. During the whole time of my stay the wifi was either completely down or has absolutely no signal from my room on the edge of the property.

Mooi gelegen resort aan meer

Uitstekend gelegen resort aan het meer, met aanlegsteiger, standaard kamer met alle voorzieningen, badkamer met douche (dus geen onhandig bad!). Volledig goed ontbijt. Echter WiFi is onhandig. Niet te ver van stad met restaurants.

Mooi gelegen resort aan het meer. Standaard kamer met alle voorzieningen. Uitstekend ontbijt. Echter het internet valt voortdurend uit! Slechts 9 km van stad voor restaurants.

Mooi gelegen hotel aan het meer. Degelijke standaard kamer met alle voorzieningen, met douche (geen bad, dus OK). Degelijk ontbijt. WiFi valt echter steeds uit.

Beautiful hotel

Everything was perfect. Very friendly service, good food, nicely decorated rooms (even the cheapest ones that are not directly on the lake), beautiful place. We didn’t get to try to pool as the weather wasn’t warm enough unfortunately! Taxi service and boat trips were much more expensive than if you book somewhere else so I wouldn’t recommend booking with the hotel (even though that’s more convenient). Would definitely go back!

Quizás por ser temporada baja, pero el hotel tenía los servicios muy limitados. El restaurante funcionaba a medio gas. El primer día nos dieron una habitación junto a lo que debía ser una sala de máquinas y había mucho ruido (nos cambiaron a otra sin ningún problema). El hotel en si es precioso, la ubicación es excepcional y las puestas de sol impresionantes.

Comfort and service at Inle Lake

We were out of season and there were 10 guests in a resort that holds 170 but we were made very welcome and had everything we needed. We stayed in lakeside villa which was comfortable and clean with baloncy to the lake. Very comfortable beds, air con, fridge and huge shower. Staff very helpful although always keen to commit you to their services. We recommend their one day lake trip (for all the local sights and markets) and you are a short taxi ride or bike ride away from Inle Heart View Restaurant perfect for sundowners with great food. The is a restaurant and the Minglela bar for your use on site. The spa was nice, pool is lovely and there is a small gym as well. We saw no better resorts whilst at Inle Lake, would stay again.

Lovely place to stay and relax

Beautiful large compound, feels like you're in the forest, lots of quite corners, great views over the lake. The cheaper rooms are in a new area of new generic buildings that do not keep to the same traditional style or have the same charm as the majority of the lodges. However, even the room we had was very clean and comfortable. The food was quite disappointing and there is little choice nearby for dinner.

Hotellet var bra, ankom på nattbuss fra Yangon og fikk sjekke inn lenge før tiden. Personalet var kjempeflinke. Hotellet bærer preg av manglende vedlikehold, beliggenheten er fin på bilder, men i virkeligheten er man i ingenmannsland da det ikke er reelle muligheter for å ta seg ut om kvelden pga mangel på lys langs veien og lignende. Aircondition er kjekt ha, men varme på rommet hadde vært mye mer praktisk (hvertfall på denne årstiden). Alt i alt et ok opphold og som nevnt, personalet var veldig imøtekommende. Mingalaba!

Beautiful but expensive and secluded

If you have a lot of money, you can rent a villa near the lake, but if not, you’ll have a little room, with no heater, no coffee/tea, far away from the restaurant, pool. In fact, the resort is far away from everything. The place is beautiful with trees, and nice view of the lake and sunsets from a large patio. The breakfasts were good, dinners were ok but expensive. Spa services were also expensive and if you wished to hire a car to go to town which is close by, you need a lot of cash also. For some reasons, staff seem sad and not smiling much and this was strange because Myanmar people are usually happier. The people at the reception were very nice. I don’t think we are the clientele for this kind of place. If you want to meet people from Myanmar, and feel a little bit more free to do stuff, a hotel in town would be more appropriate. Tours of the lake and of other places are organized in town also.

It is a massive resort with rooms of various standards. Our room was a superior double and relatively small compared to other hotels we have stayed in on our trip the Myanmar, and wasn’t very well ventilated. In addition the wifi was terrible in our room, it kept disconnecting. The dinning room was a big hall and a little soleless. Breakfast had a good selection but the fried rice and noodles were not as good as I have had elsewhere. If you want to share the $$ with other local businesses whilst staying at Inle lake resort the local options are very limited and a tuk tuk into town was $8000 kyat The sunset views over the lake are lovely

まず、チェックインの時に、フリーWi-Fiの説明が丁寧ではなかった。私の英語力と言うよりも、フリーWi-Fiのバマスワードであると告げられないと、部屋番号の紙を渡されだだけではわからない。 次に、シャワー、洗面の水が薄茶色。 シャワーの温度がなかなか上がらない。 水量が弱い。 ボットも湯飲み、お茶も置いてない。 ドライヤーも頼まないといけない。 コンセントが少なく、充電するのに困った。 到着日の夜、外でゴミを燃やしていたようで、夜中ずっとプラスチックやビニールを焼いている匂いが部屋に入って、気分が悪かった。 湖の近くの椅子に座って見るサンセットは、とても良かった。 スタッフの挨拶や対応は、好感が持てました。

Lake front villa

Stayed in the lake front villas - beautiful villa and good size. Only slight disappointment was that I could not see the sunset directly from my balcony - however there was plenty of space on the hotel deck to see this.

Das beste Resort am Inle Lake! Jederzeit wieder.

Das Inle Resort & Spa war für uns das schönste Hotel während unserer Myanmar-Rundreise (insgesamt sechs Hotels). Schön ruhig gelegen, eine gepflegte und neue Anlage. Unser Zimmer in einem der weißen Häuser war groß, modern und sauber. Das Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) war sehr gut, eine tolle Auswahl mit frischen Produkten. Die Mitarbeiter waren außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit - z. B. bei der Planung unserer weiteren Reise. Tolle Spa-Anwendungen zu fairen Preisen. Der Pool hat eine ideale Größe. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Definitive Empfehlung von uns, wir würden jederzeit wieder hin!

Une nuit passée dans cet hôtel. Personnel accueillant .Chambre supérieure qui pour moi correspondait plus à une chambre standard . Petit déjeuner excellent . Au vu de l 'emplacement de l hotel repas du soir pris au restaurant : bon mais gonfle les prix (équivaut quasiment au prix français ). L hôtel est accessible par la route et en bateau . A 30 minutes de marche du village le plus proche .

Superbe hôtel et superbe vue

Superbe expérience dans' cet hôtel, les chambres sont magnifiques et valent le prix. Rien a redire à ce niveau. Seul bémol: très difficile de trouver une pirogue autre QUE celles fournies à prix d'or par l'hôtel et avec des trajets pré programmés... ca perd un peu de sas spontanéité dans ce paysage qui pousse à la découverte... dommage

Eigentlich schönes Hotel, aber kein Wohlfühlfaktor

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, für meinen Geschmack aber fast schon zu sauber und dadurch etwas "steril" (überall sieht man putzendes Persona); das Hotel liegt recht abgeschieden, man ist daher fast gezwungen dort zu essen und zu trinken; die Preise im Hotel für Transfer/Essen/Touren sind dreimal so hoch wie in der Stadt; die Zimmer sind schön, aber es fehlt an Kleinigkeiten wie einem Fön; die Angestellten sind sehr bemüht, aber in diesem Hotel hatte ich das einzige Mal auf der Reise das Gefühl, dass die Freundlichkeit ein wenig aufgesetzt war; es hapert an Kleinigkeiten wie Auflagen am Pool, rutschfesten Fliesen, Fliegengittern (in Anbetracht der Vielzahl an Moskitos ärgerlich). Insgesamt habe ich mich nicht rundherum wohl gefühlt.

Only payment in dollars

Everything priced in dollars is a bit irritating, also no hair dryer or kettle in room. Just seems a bit mean, otherwise could be a great hotel.
