"For a visit in the dead of winter, parking was a breeze nearby(street parking, likely no enforcement of 4 hour limit in effect in summer). A good year-round (!!) restaurant/brewery right across the street. For a low price, I was surprised to be given Room 3, the Nashua suite, which has 3 bedrooms for just me! Only downside-bathroom was freezing cold. Major construction is going on RIGHT next door, so check that situation first if you’re not an early riser (eg 7 am). I happened upon a very kind staff person onsite who was walking in and let me in when the Open Key app didnt work for me. Thank God for that! I was calling the phone number, but it was so much better having a live person there. and she have me physical cardkeys for both inside and outside doors. The two other times I stayed at places without anyone there for checkin (in Cornwall, England) I also had a hard time getting in-one had misleading direction for the correct address and gate to find the keypad). So I dont recommend this kind of remote checkin for elders or others who might be technophobes. "
"My husband and I were attending an event in Falmouth and even though we live locally, we booked the Iris to avoid nighttime traffic driving. We know the area quite well and considered the Iris based on reviews and honestly, the price. We were so glad we did! The hotel is clean, safe, location is perfect - close to downtown yet away from the traffic there. We were pleasantly surprised by a refrigerator and microwave, along with a keurig coffee maker and local coffee kcups. The complimentary breakfast was a bonus with plenty of options. Of note, should you need a place to stay because someone is inpatient at Falmouth hospital, THIS is the place to stay!"
"We spent a getaway winter night at The Coonamessett. The suite was clean and provided us a place to relax. The bathroom was updated and the bed was comfortable. We stayed in one of the village suites and I will say the walls between the rooms are quite thin. We requested a room change due to noise and the manager quickly obliged and our new suite was quiet. That being said, I can see how the village suites would be ideal for larger groups or wedding parties staying together."
"Clean room, professional staff, comfortable bed, spaciousness. I do wish that the bath was functional. We could only shower. A very pleasant stay and we would come again."
