"Blinds were broken in my room, unable to roll it up or down. Mentioned it to staff- nothing done. 1 elevator was working, so there were long waits and you had to ride with cleaning carts. Parking lot is seperate from the building. An elevator down to "T" and a walk past the pool to another outside building to another elevator- not convenient. "I had a quiet, peaceful stay. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops in the downtown area of Decatur which was also very well maintained and quaint. Overall I had a fabulous stay!"

"Genuinely feels like an honest establishment, decent, quiet and safe. It’s not a large hotel with massive amenities but hopefully common sense got you there already. The fella running the office is nice, straightforward."

"I stayed for 3 days i eequested service daily and didnt recieve it . They also told me they didnt clean the rooms until the 3rd day wich on the 3rd day i did not recieve. "The staff was friendly but the property seems to be in declining condition. Shortly after check-in, and on two other occasions, I reported a malfunctioning smoke detector. Although the desk clerks reported it to maintenance, it was never fixed during my stay. As a result, I got almost no sleep because of the constant beeping."

It's close to downtown venues and the Beltway, and within walking distance to restaurants. I highly recommend a stay there. "

"Air conditioning was right next to the bed and froze me when it was on. When not, I was hot. Room was clean, but hallways and staircases were really nasty, with food mashed into carpet. Room had poor maintenance, with rusty chrome in bathroom, missing plugs, and broken doorknob."

"This is essentially a motel with access to rooms from at outdoor corridor. Had a hard tine falling asleep, super noisy from other guests in the hallway and street noise. Cold air blowing no matter what temperature you set up on the thermostat. No light in the corridor as you get off the elevator at night. Breakfast was decent and staff helpful. This was sketchy. Would not stay here again."
