"The place is tucked away off the roads so it feels isolated and away from the hustle of the surrounding streets. The check in process was easy and the staff was amazing. We ate a few times at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. The wifi is only available near the main area and not in the rooms, the kids took full advantage of the pools, both pool areas were well maintained. We rented one of the outside areas for a family gathering. Its not a "high end" resort but its comfortable and the staff are welcoming and accommodating. Overall we loved our stay here."
"The room was spacious with nice view of Mayon volcano. The water pressure and hot water supply in bathroom area left something to be desired. Rooms in general could use updating. Breakfast buffet options were good but found a insect inside one of the juices. Staff were not as friendly as what I am used to. In general, it was a good place to stay though in this non tourist town."
"The place is (very) tired. So many things seemed to have been neglected or fixed a bit slapdash and it was disappointing as it had looked quite nice online.
Our room smelled damp. The toilet roll holder was broken, the bathroom door handle and lock looked to have been replaced, and a tv once might have been up on the wall but now nothing. The mirror was held together by tape and there were signs of some wood-eating insects, with gritty deposits re-appearing on the furniture. The WiFi didn’t reach the room either.
The swimming pool was still as a millpond and stank of chlorine, making me think the filter system doesn’t work/is absent. The concrete around the pool has come away in chunks in areas, one of the lounge chairs had a hole in it… you get the gist.
And at no point was there ever mention (online when booking or in the pre-arrival message we received or when checking in) that the restaurant was cash only.
However the staff at the front desk and serving at the restaurant were all really nice."
"Staff was very nice and courteous. The resort itself is very nice and serene. I just wish they would have more extra bedding coz they couldn’t give me an extra pillow"
