"We stayed for three days and this hotel was ideal for our purposes. The location is only a few minutes from the train station and a leisurely ten minute walk to the Schilthorn cable cars. The views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau were exceptional…you’ll never have a better view at breakfast. Furnishings and food were on the simpler side — we very much enjoyed our time."

"We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the Grandhotel Giessbach and wow, what a place! The hotel is certainly grand and is located in the most beautiful location I've ever seen, overlooking Lake Brienz with the Giessbach falls only metres away! The staff were all very pleasant, the breakfast was great, the bar was lovely, the Les Cascades restaurant was lovely, the surrounding park and trails were truly beautiful! However, my only complaint is that we had to pay 15CHF per night for parking....

"We got upgraded, nice and free breakfast, 15minutes walk from train station or buses except 5 at the left turn from hotel just 5minutes. 7 minutes walk to bridges, room is clean, service is great, staff are so nice, felt welcome."
